    • My left elbow has been sore for the past week, but just today someone told me it was swollen. I looked at it and I was surprised. When I bend my elbow it looks like a golf ball is attached to it….

    • is the swelling on the back of it? if so, its sounds like Olecranon Bursitis…
      If it’s hot and red, you need to get the doctor to take a look, as there may be some infection present. If its just sore and puffy then it may help to use ice pack wrapped in damp tea towel on it for 10 – 15′ x4 times day, and maybe topical anti -inflammatory gel (read the directions on the pack carefully).

      A good physio will be happy to take a look and advise you personally- always the best move.
